Welcome to the Field Notes — Why We're Doing This

A quick note on what this blog is for, who we are, and what kind of tree care content actually helps Florida homeowners.

We’ve been running Sacred Tree Service since early 2023, working trees across Orlando and the surrounding 50 miles of Central Florida. We started this blog for one reason: most of the tree-care content online for Florida homeowners is bad.

It’s either thin SEO filler or a pitch dressed up as advice. Neither helps you make a real decision about your trees.

What you’ll find here

We’re going to write the stuff we actually tell people on estimates:

  • Species ID and care — live oaks, sabal palms, magnolias, citrus, pines, the good and the bad of each
  • Storm prep — what to do before hurricane season, and how to read damage after
  • When to remove vs. save — the honest framework an arborist uses
  • What things actually cost — and why two estimates can differ by 5x

Who’s writing

This blog is written by our team, including our ISA Certified Arborists. When a post is written by a credentialed arborist, you’ll see the badge on the byline.

That’s the deal. No fluff, no clickbait, just the kind of notes we wish more tree services published.

If you have a question you want covered, reach out — we’ll write about it.
